A: LeadingEdge Personnel is looking for top-quality applicants for our clients. Again, LeadingEdge Personnel is looking for employees who have marketable skills, related job experience, good tenure, and a positive attitude. Thus, the minimal level of related experience may be anywhere from six months to several years depending on the position.

Q: What do I need to bring to my appointment?

A: Applicants need to bring to their appointment: a copy of their updated resume, two forms of identification (e.g., driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate, and/or passport), and a smile.

Q: Do I need to be professionally dressed?

A: Yes. It is suggested that applicants are professionally dressed. An applicant’s presentation and demeanor are considered when screening for our clients. As a helpful tip, it is always better to be over-dressed than under-dressed.

Q: What happens during the appointment?

A: During your appointment, you will have a one-on-one interview with one of our staffing professionals, take assessment evaluations (i.e., typing, data entry, basic office skills, software), discuss LeadingEdge Personnel’s available employment opportunities and policies. You should plan on your appointment lasting up to two hours.

Q: What happens if I do not score well on the assessment test(s)?

A: In the event that you do not score as high as required for a specific position, or if you would like to improve your skill level, we have tutorials available. You may come into our office on Fridays to take advantage of the free tutorials offered or we can email the tutorials to you.

Q: How long does it take to receive an employment offer?

A: Depending on your skill level, experience, and personal criteria, it may take a few days or up to a couple of weeks. Often, applicants have been offered positions the same day as their appointment.
