Kelly
Owner

Kelly conceived the company 6 years before it opened.  He has had a more fun and joyful career than a person can imagine working in the Staffing Industry for 32 years.  His joy in business comes from the amazing people he works with and he makes it his mission to always develop a positive, fun environment for the best talent to flourish so they too can find joy at work.  He is the father of 3 wonderful daughters and married for 28 years where he finds his greater joy.

Patty 
Owner

Patty assisted Kelly in creating LeadingEdge Personnel. From developing policies and procedures, recruiting the first employee, filling the first job, writing the first paycheck and billing the first customer, she has done it all. Patty cried and shouted “they like us, they really like us” when we received payment for our first invoice! And yes, she really cried. In her spare time, you might find Patty at any of the great wineries that Texas has to offer.

Maritza
Vice President

Maritza has been part of the LeadingEdge team since she was 15.  She’s  passionate about helping clients and potential employees find the right fit.  Originally from the Valley, she now considers San Antonio home.   In her spare time she enjoys making gourmet meals for her family.  Maritza’s motto is “What would Julia Childs do?”

Mya
Senior Staffing Coordinator

Mya began with LeadingEdge in 2006 after graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia.  Her passion is aiming to deliver 100% customer and employee satisfaction.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying out new eateries, and her favorite – indulging in “retail therapy”, especially shoes and handbags.  She lives by the Cinderella motto—The right shoe can change your life!

Lori
Staffing Coordinator

Born in Ohio, Lori totally considers herself a Texan!  She loves to laugh and be silly, but gets the job done.  Lori has been in staffing for over 10 years and with LEP for 2 years. She is an expert at matching the right people to the right jobs.

Michelle
Director of First Impressions

Michelle is a jack of all trades. There is nothing she can’t tackle and she’ll do it while always wearing a smile. She REALLY loves cats and people too, like A LOT! Michelle is also the shortest person in our office but don’t let her height fool you, she makes up for it with her feistiness!

LeAnn
Accounting Manager-Corporate

LeAnn is our Head Bean Counter. She started with LeadingEdge a month after we opened our first office in 1995. Once she has her 3rd cup of coffee and catches up on Facebook, she oversees our Accounting Department and keeps our money press going. A member of both the American Payroll Association and the American Staffing Association, we would show you her CPP & TSP Certifications, if we could find them under all the stacks of papers in her office.

Maria
AR Specialist-Corporate

Maria, a California transplant,  has strong organizational skills and attention to detail which enable her to accommodate our clients special invoicing and payment needs.  When not watching Korean Dramas or licking gummy bear bellies before eating them, she’s planning her next vacation.

Vanessa
Business Development Manager

Vanessa loves building relationships and making new friends. She was born and raised in San Antonio and attended UTSA. She loves to cook anything she can find on Pinterest and has a rather large family, with 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She and her boyfriend enjoy binge watching Game of Thrones as they were a little late to the party and have a lot of catching up to do. They have a stray cat they love to feed everyday as he hisses at them, his name is Gato.

Sherry
AP|Payroll Specialist-Corporate

Sherry is the biggest nerd in the office.  She enjoys reading, cooking and baking, and cheesy sci-fi shows.  She loves working with the Accounting team, and joining LeadingEdge Personnel is one of her favorite points in her wibbily wobbly timeline.

Jennifer
Compliance Specialist-Corporate

Jennifer has a passion for running…often to the kitchen for food but that’s beside the point. Her love for a Starbucks grande in a venti cup with 5 pumps of white chocolate mocha and extra whip help to keep this Compliance Specialist on top of our ACA requirements. Jennifer has been with LEP for almost a year and comes to us with over 11 years of HR, payroll and benefits.

Vanessa
Business Development Manager

Vanessa is one of our Business Development Managers with over 10 years of experience in Communications, Sales & Customer Service. When she’s not building relationships with clients she can usually be found at a café reading or writing. If you can’t find her at a café then she’s probably spending time with her cats, listening to The Beatles or binge watching obscure movies or television shows on Netflix.

Serena
Recruiter

Serena has over 12 years of recruiting experience in different industries. She believes that recruiting allows her to do some really cool stuff. One of her favorite things is connecting with people who have a passion to succeed. It’s always about building relationships. It’s all about discovering people’s dreams and matching them with careers that allow then to grow and do their very best work. Outside of the office, she’s likely catching up with her assignment for her second Bachelor’s Degree, watching comedies on Netflix or spending quality time her husband.
